Cecilia, You're Breakin' My Heart

I've named my right leg.

Cecilia.

You know, as in, Cecilia, you're breakin' my heart, you're shakin' my confidence baby.

Cause, ever since my 12 miles on the dreadmill Saturday, my hip has been unbearably tight and last night, I felt that familiar nagging, stabbing pain in my knee. Um, what? I thought I was past that! I was all set to tear. this. marathon. up. So what's with the leg? Cecilia, I'm down on my knees, I'm begging you please! I'm putting off tomorrow's 8 miles until the evening.
This week has been, and will continue to be, cahrazee! This is my face this morning when I looked at my Outlook calendar this morning. How much more can I cram into one week???However, I did find a candy shamrock in my purse. Leftover from the bribes, er cupcakes, I bought my Da and Sister after the Rock N Rock Expo a few weeks ago. Not sure how it ended up in my purse!
Traffic was a special little treat today. Took me an hour and a half to go 14 miles. If I RAN home, that would be great time. I'd be pleased as punch! But driving that long? Urgh. I listened to the Great Health Care Debate on NPR for a while, but a girl can only take so much of that. Popped in Guster and jammed the rest of the way home. Uh, how come I haven't been listening to Guster all along? Love them!
So I did the most logical thing, I made cupcakes. Clearly, the best end to a busy day. I tried something new too! Made regular old yellow cake, poured it into mini muffin pans, sprinkled a cinnamon/sugar mixture on top, then with a knife, cut the cinnamon/sugar into the batter of the cupcake. Top that with cream cheese frosting and you pretty much have perfection.
Indeed.
Actually, the cupcakes server 2 purposes:
1. Bribes for my class on Generations in the Workplace tomorrow
2. Treats for Hubs and his co-workers. They've been putting in a lot of hours lately.
You know my motto: "Cupcakes cure what ails ya!"

Now if Cecilia will just co-operate...
