Sometimes, you just need to make your own.
I was digging through some old craft box tonight and found a Make it Bake it kit left over from a project I did with my niece years ago.
Smiling, I remembered how much I enjoyed these as a kid. Then I thought, "Why not?"
So I set about the business of making it, then baking it. While listening to Israel.
Nothing like the fumes of melting plastic filling your kitchen. Ah, an 80's childhood.
And just like when I was young, it didn't turn out perfect. But what in life does?
Embrace the little imperfections and when skies are gray, make your own rainbow!

Ha ha, I haven't seen those in years! Reminds me of shrinking potato chip bags and styrofoam McDonald's containers in the oven too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post! Really, who doesn't get a little nostalgic for an 80s childhood and ...um... the fumes of melting plastic?!?

ReplyDeleteHa, I love this! I haven't seen a kit like this in years!
ReplyDeleteNow, if you could just find those plastic things you would bake and they'd expand you'd really be reliving the 80s!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!
