Well, I did it. After 7 years of running exclusively in Mizuno Waver Riders, I bought a totally different pair of shoes. You know the saying, "If it ain't broke?" Well, what better time that one month before marathon to try new shoes?
No worries, these lightweight babies will only come out for track workouts and racing short distances.
Until Austin.
I'm excited!
Are you a shoe loyalist or do you like to switch it up?

And the color doesn't hurt either!
ReplyDeleteI definitely play with different makes/models. Still don't know that I've found my perfect match!
Pretty pink new shoes!! I think we both want to be a shoe loyalist, but sometimes you just gotta switch it up!
ReplyDeleteBest part of those shoes? They are PINK! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh those are pretty! I am a big fan of Pearl Izumi, besides my new(ish) pair of Hokas, they're all I've ever run in. Have fun breaking them in!
ReplyDeleteLove the new shoes. New shoes always make for a happy day!!! Erica

Those are seriously rad shoes! I am loyal to my Sauconies, especially after I got injured after trying to switch up shoes last year.
ReplyDeleteI'm very faithful. Ive tried other things but I love my Riders o much, nothing else compares!
ReplyDeleteloyal, loyal to my brooks ravennas!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are AWESOME. I just got some hot pink Brooks and I want to wear them everywhere. I've switched up shoes quite a bit trying to find what works, but when I'm training for something, I stick with the same shoe until after the race.
ReplyDeleteThose look fast!
ReplyDeleteI was a loyalist until they stopped making the model that I loved. I bought as many pairs on the internet of it, but this spring I was forced to shop around. I now rotate between 2 different pairs of brooks and 1 pair of saucony, and it seems to work.
i want to try something like these. have you noticed any difference? i'm a loyal asics girl. :)
